I should know...I'm one of them. But I notice a definite surge in traffic when I've written solid posts on my blog. And the really good ones continue to get traffic. Even if I was the only one reading my work, I'd still do it. For me, it will always be about the words, and like you put it, saying my piece. Readers can be fickle. I should know…I’m one of them.
