Not sure whether this dovetails with the last post, but apparently when I thought that Dave Winer was drawing the line at selling out by advertising on RSS feeds, he apparently can whore himself out by selling his speaking ability.

He says he will sell a spot in his presentation and mention your business. I’m having a hard time distiguishing how that is more acceptable over paying for Ads in RSS? Dave? Could you elaborate?
Actually in the personal blogosphere, my site Genuine is known as the King of the Blog Whores. Perhaps I’m just jealous I didn’t think of this first.
