Keep Searching Blogs

Blogs can be used as search optimization tools. This statement carries with it some power to those trying to increase their search engine ranking. Companies are paying top dollar to make sure that their company is on page 1 of search results in Google, especially within their company’s niche. Illustrastive of the power of blogs being beneficial to help search engine optimization, I took my own personal blog “Genuine“, and Googled the name. Go ahead, I’ll wait while you plug “genuine” into a quick Google search. As you can see, my site is the number one result for that word. Big deal? Let’s ask the CEO’s of the companies that might rather appear on a Google search above a Daddy Blogger. Here is a small list:Genuine Microsoft Software – I would bet that there is a guy at Microsoft pulling his hair out every time he goes to check whether this page shows up first. Mr. Gates, let’s talk about a blog for your software.Genuine Scooters They spent 2 years on the engineering aspect of this Scooter the Stella, but now they cannot get their scooter to be found above a blog. Genuine Games – Games and gaming is a huge market, and very hot with the people that are in the know about the technical side of computers. Someone should tell this company that perhaps a blog on that nice looking website might be a good idea. Genuine - This is perhaps the most puzzling result because of the fact that their domain name is the exact phrase we have searched. I actually tried to register that domain name. These guys are a software company, but all the application brilliance in the company can’t seem to get them to show up on the first page of a Google search. Over 21 million search results and a Daddy Blogger is the number one site listed. A blog is very search robot friendly due to their constant updating of content, and links to and from the site. Blogs will increase and improve your search results.

So what you’re saying is, you’re famous, beloved, quoted, and sought-after?

I certainly won’t argue that point.

Very well said and something regular folks not into seo are starting to understand

Wow… I knew that SEO was important, but this is something else entirely. Glad to see you’re doing so well, and hopefully I can take some of this advice into advisement myself.
