Thanks to John Jantsch over at Duct Tape Marketing, we find another example of a business taking advantage of blogging. Laserfit has its own blog and discusses various aspects of their business. They have only been up a few weeks, but I’m sure they will see great results in no time.

Thanks for the comment about our blog at http://www.laserfit.com.au I thought that I would give you a bit of background. I have been involved in retail marketing for about 30 years. You would be a rich man if I gave you $1 for everytime that I have heard statements from professional marketers that essentially boil down to “if we do xyz then we can move the market to do abc.” I cringe every time I hear this. I believe that our responsibility is to give the market enough information to make a considered decision. This is what we are doing with Laserfit Clothing. I have coined the term “transparent marketing”, this is where we bare our marketing soul to our customers. We tell them what we are doing, what is working and what is not. I hope that using this approach we can build up a level of trust that is unattainable by any other means. I guess it is the antithesis of a “smoke and mirrors” approach.
