Damn the torpedoes … damn technology!

We live in a techno-centric world don’t we?  Love it, hate it, curse it.  This morning we’re cursing.  Scott built, and he and I tested, the online registration form before going live.  Registrant got a thank you, he got the info, the person booking the cruise got a copy.  Great.  We can stop slamming our heads against the wall on this.

Then this morning.  This morning we found out that a bunch of people have signed up for the cruise (Yay!) but neither Scott or our booking person were getting the e-mails.  Oh %%^&&$#@%#%!

Scott and Jeremy Wright conferred and we have a solution in place.

So, if you registered previously (as in before this morning about noon ET), please register again and send the previous thank you e-mail to Scott and sgoldblatt AT onebyonemedia DOT com.  We’re sorry for the inconvenience. Oh lord are we sorry.

[...] The blogosphere’s all round Mr Nice Guy, Darren Rouse the ProBlogger announces that he’s going on a blog cruise (the cruise has hit a bit of a glitch and A-list presenter, Jeremy Wright, says “bad, bad, bad”). This week Darren also tells people (nicely) how to spell his name (better than last year’s 9Rules “here’s how we demand you to spell our name, you dimwits” fiasco) and ends the week asking “What’s Wrong with Blogging? - ouch, wonder if he really wanted to know seeing that some of the comments hit quite close to home … for all us bloggers.
