Blogwerx to track content thieves, maybe

Blogwerx was one of the cool things released last week or so.  I haven’t tried it yet, but it’s on the list.  What it’s supposed to do is use your feed to see if someone is scraping your content.  I just signed up using my personal blog’s feed.  The sign up says a free account takes two weeks to get results.  Hmm.  Okay sounds like paying customers might get something a little faster.  Renee and Robert have mentions of it and Teresa posted a video of the interface.  I haven’t gotten that far, but looks like giving Blogwerx some time to get their feet planted might not be a bad idea.

There is no doubt that a service like this is needed, I hope that Blogwerx is a real solution for all of us taking the time to write good content for our blogs.

I agree. A service like this is greatly needed. It’s all going to come down to execution. Execution and how we define copyrights on the web.
