Blog advertising is becoming more and more prevalent throughout the blogospshere. I myself have given in to the lure of money to be made via Google and others. I am using my personal site at Genuine to leverage some extra income.

It seems that I’m not the only one to succumb to the lure of the almighty dollar and I for one applaud. Dooce is now jumping into the professional blogger ranks and losing her amateur status. Well, I did mention it before about her earnings, but now she is going for the full Monty with side bar ads and advertisements in her RSS feeds using the people at Pheedo. My hat is off to you Heather for taking the steps to allow your blog to pay you back for all of your hard work. I also bow to you for making it so your husband can make a career change and take a more heartfelt path. I for one would love to hear about your success in this endeavor. My guess is, that beautiful daughter won’t have to worry about paying for college.
