Been so busy I didn’t blog this until now … Qumana releases v3.0 beta

Qumana v30 betaYou know you’ve been busy when you don’t get a chance to blog about your own product! As some of my readers know Qumana has been privately testing the beta for our new v3.0 of Qumana. And now you can try it too! We’re really excited about it and well, we think you will be too.

Big news? Qumana now works with both Macs and PCs. Yep, you read that right. Mac and PCs. But that’s not all. We’ve re-built Qumana from the ground up. Clean slate. Besides basic requirements that it replicate the ease of use and simplicity of the v2 Qumana for Windows and it work on Macs, that was it. The rest … well we wanted to added some better, cooler stuff too. So … what’s new?

  • a "blog manager" that locally stores your drafts and published posts
  • support for trackbacks and pinging
  • improved editor with valid XHTML, plus ability to view and edit code
  • a way to refresh the editor (’New Post‘) - to clear away published material and start a new post instantly
  • improved image dialogue, including preview and auto upload trigger from Drag & Drop
  • and more?

Let Qumana take you away!Nice huh? We haven’t stopped there. Qumana wants to send you on vacation. You choose Whistler to Ski or Mexico to Sun. How? Easy, blog with Qumana. All the details are on the contest page, but here are the details:

To enter:
download the new Qumana beta
use Qumana for your next 20 posts (minimum entry amount, across any number of blogs, min 50 words to our discretion)
show off the "powered by Qumana" footer on each post
write a creative post about your blogging landscape
send us [info@Qumana.com] the URL for your post and any blogs you’ve written on

So, what are waiting for … get blogging!
